CCTV

The Burlington Hotel understands that recording images of identifiable individuals constitutes as processing personal information, so it is done in line with data protection principles.

The hotel operates a multi camera, multi-screen, digital CCTV system, which is monitored in the public areas to ensure our guests and members of staff’s safety or for investigative purposes. Cameras are only placed where they do not intrude on anyone’s privacy and are necessary to fulfil their purpose.

All CCTV footage will be kept for a period of time  for security purposes, after which time will self-delete.  Any CCTV footage which has been locked and saved on the system for investigative purposes is deleted once the case is completed.


RETENTION OF DATA

The Burlington Hotel will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Burlington Hotel will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes.
